With clubs shut over the last year or so, the team’s behind them have found alternative avenues to keep their creative juices flowing. For Helsinki’s Post Bar that free time has been channelled into getting their label off the ground: Post Sonics.
After sharing two VA compilations during lockdown they ready their first physical release; a four-track EP from designer, DJ and producer emkay, who’s a regular behind the decks at their club. With the help of fellow Finnish producer Sansibar on the remix, she translates the missed joy found on the dancefloor through a blend of pacey electro, driving Goa pop and warm, glistening house.
