Premiere: Credit 00 – Mind Trip

Since launching nearly a decade ago Uncanny Valley has shown the fertility of the local electronic music scene in its stomping ground of Dresden.

Having notched up over 80 releases from artists like Massimiliano Pagliara, Perel and Chinaski, as well as plenty of VA EPs, the label have now teamed up with graphic designer Doppeldenk to create seven V/A releases inspired by colours. The next marks the fourth release, BLUE, which features track contributions from new and returning artists Gnista, AGB, Break SL, Qnete, as well as label mate and head honcho of their sub-label Rat Life RecordsCredit 00 AKA Alexander Dorn.

Jack of all trades, Alex is as comfortable releasing throbbing electro, EBM and Ghettotech as he is crafting downtempo house jams, like today’s premiere “Mind Trip”. Taking inspiration from Larry Heard, the track channels that deep Chicago House sound; warm rolling, melodic rhythms smattered with crisp percussion.

Uncanny Valley 050 BLUE will be out on Wednesday 27 November – grab your copy via Uncanny Valley. Credit 00 debuts his live set in London on 30th November at The Waiting Room.
