Gala Festival 2018 in photos

Gala Festival made a bold and triumphant step forward on the last May Holiday, from their new home at Peckham Rye Park. The first time the space had been used for a festival, the site was split well to make use of the limited space and allow maximum impact for each stage.

Rhythm Section hosted the big hit of the day for us, with Chaos in the CBD, Maurice Fulton and Mr Scruff all present. Bradley Zero took to Instagram after calling it “one of the most joyful days” in their eigh years of parties. Horse Meat Disco‘s spot was fittingly the steamiest of all three, with the Pleasure Dome keeping retaining every bit of heat as the LGBTQ+ revelry reached maximum temperature with Midland and Honey Dijon. Although the main stage suffered from the early crowds at the aforementioned two, Greg Wilson, Crazy P and a special set from Derrick Carter to finish brought the disco throngs forward for a jubilant finish.
