For their third studio album, Hauke Freer and Matthias Reiling return to familiar pastures on Delusions of Grandeur. In their nine-year music partnership together, Jimpster’s label have released no less than 11 Session Victim EPs and Listen to Your Heart makes it three albums from three. The respect clearly runs deep. While the duo are best know for creating joy-filled moments on the dancefloor, our standout on the LP goes the opposite way. Sitting among tracks with familiar smooth guitar licks, disco strings and playful funk grooves comes ‘Castle For Sale’, drifting in the wind, bouncing from fluffy cloud to fluffy cloud as it reclines on a lilo.
