Next month Red Bull Music Academy returns with this years edition of their UK tour. The month long programme sees an assemblage of 32 unique shows, lectures and workshops across four UK cities.
As well as the familiar club nights and extremely successful academy lectures, venues across Liverpool, Glasgow, London and Leeds will play host to studio sessions, AV shows, art installations and radio broadcasts; beaming a deserved light on artists past and present that have played a part in UK movements spanning genres from hip hop, grime and soul to house, techno, garage and electro. The tour continues Red Bull’s 20-year mission to champion key artists and movements from within UK music whilst also educating fans and fellow musicians.
We’ve selected some of our picks from the mammoth programme of events, which will run concurrently with the RBMA academy in Montreal.
