Making its debut on the festival circuit this year, boutique event East Ender has got a line-up to make all you music junkies foam at the mouth. Located in the cultural metropolis of Shoreditch (East London), the three day arts and music micro-festival will play host to a range of talent, from left-field electronic music to hip hop to dub and reggae.
Headlining the festival (and making their own UK debut) are JJ Doom – MF Doom‘s latest collaborative project with American Hip-Hop producer Jneiro Jarel. If that wasn’t enough to get your ears twitching, the line-up continues with Dub/Reggae legends Mad Professor and Prince Fatty (not to mention super collective Reggae Roast), UK Hip-Hop legend Blak Twang, Hyperdub‘s first lady Cooly G, Future-Garage duo Voyeur, UK Bass wonderboys Arp101 (Eglo Records) and Doc Daneeka (50 Weapons) – plus Mo Kolours and Sinjin Hawke. Alongside all this, the festival’s open air art gallery is providing an expressive space for artists to exhibit, while a collection of local artists will produce live street art and outdoor art installations.
To sum up, this is one event that you can’t miss, and so we’re giving you the chance to be a part of it by entering a competition to win two tickets to the whole festival!
