With the recent release of Jacques Greene’s new track with Koreless, we thought we’d bring you a new producer who likes to dabble in RnB samples. Despite still being a Music Tech student at Birmingham City, Guy Furious has already achieved a fair bit. He has produced Hip-hop tracks, remixed for Nicole Scherzinger and one of his tracks is being used by Melody Thornton of the Pussycat Dolls for an upcoming solo release. But it’s his exploration into Future-Garage on EP Pillow Talk that caught our attention the most, where he impressively samples some of his favourite RnB artists, including Destiny’s Child, Mariah Carey and Pretty Ricky. Having just come back from L.A. to perfect his production, hopefully Guy Furious will be putting his name to some chart toppers this coming year. Our favourite from the 5-track EP is Serendipity (sampling Alicia Keys) but the whole thing is definitely worth checking out, especially as it’s free to download here.
