Like the idiosyncrasies of Burial that capture London‘s dark temper, TOKiMONSTA’s loose beats and colourful samples spill a perfect shadow of both the L.A. Hip-hop and nightclub scenes. The first woman signed to Flying Lotus’ innovative music label Brainfeeder, TOKiMONSTA’s new EP Creature Dreams follows her 2010 album Midnight Menu, which gained global attention for its experimental sampling of Soul, Funk and Jazz music.
