Monday Morning Mixtape 240

Ebb from Indian classical and jazz fusion to soul-dipped 00’s hip hop and a dose of 1997 Detroit house.

Today’s mixtape was curated by London born DJ Tim Garcia, Founder of Música Macondo. Tim presents a 2 Hour weekly radio show every Friday night on Jazz FM.

‘I wanted to ease the week in with a TransAtlantic journey through Jazz, Soul, Hip Hop and Electronica from London to Sao Paolo via New York, LA and Detroit. It features some of my favourite producers and musicians old and new plus forthcoming music from 22a, Soundway and Motown Records (a cheeky cut from Marvin Gaye’s lost album). It made sense in my head, hopefully it does for you too.’
