Discwoman, A Guy Called Gerald + Pxssy Palace discuss nightlife past + future at Nightlab

Nightlab is a creative platform and forum powered by Mixcloud and Eventbrie that brings together the leading thinkers, promoters and entrepreneurs from across the UK’s night time economy and event industry.

For the debut event in March 2018, Nightlab presented talks on the future of the cultural spaces. The second, on 28th November at Tanner Warehouse in London, will focus on the past and present of club culture. Split into two evening sessions across three-plus hours, the first (above) looks back three decades of dancing with A Guy Called Gerald and Greg Wilson, hosted by Bill Brewster.

The second (above), titled ‘Building A New Underground Resistance’, looks forward with four cultural activists involved in parties with a purpose. The panel includes: dance music academic and Room 4 Resistance co-founder Luis-Manuel Garcia; Discwoman co-founder Frankie Decaiza Hutchinson; Ryan Lanji, head of queer club night HUNGAMA; and Pxssy Palace co-founder Nadine Artois
