Monday Morning Mixtape 209 glides through 1983 Portuguese synth-wave, Latin-French smooth funk from 1987 and contemporary Bay Area soul covering a boogie classic.

Today’s mixtape is curated by Leisureware, a London DJ who runs The Occasional Feel-Good and hosts a monthly show on Noods Radio. In his own words, “this mixtape was inspired by a Mediterranean terrace I visited. Waves lapping, birds wheeling, a glass of something chilled. It’s the balearic sound gone global – suave Italian disco, seventies yacht rock and a Frankie Knuckles holy grail. Paradise!”
