Premiere: Møzaika – Whistler

Since shaking off his Selvy moniker, Polish producer Wojciech Grynko has been hard at work making music as Møzaika. In August he launched No Bad Days sister label No Bad Edits with three tracks of danceable new age goodness, and now he’s making his debut on Marvin & Valentino’s Public Possession.

The Munich-based label and record shop have charted releases from the likes of Bell Towers, Samo DJ and Tambien, the production project Marvin and Valentino are part of alongside Beni Bartellow. Møzaika’s Aqua slots in perfectly among the plethora of releases; four tracks that will certainly pick you up during these cold winter months. Our selection, ‘The Whistler’, opens with a playful drum pattern and cowbell hits wrapped around a low slung bass thread. Video game pings and tropical-tinged motifs bring colour, retaining that light-hearted feel we relished in his efforts as Selvy on No Bad Days.

Aqua is out on 8 December. Look out for the release on Public Possessions’s website.
