The Pilotwings make Bristol their first stop on a debut UK tour next month

Riding off the back of a 2016 where they featured in many DJ’s end of year lists, The Pilotwings embark on their first European tour this Spring, making a first stop at Bristol for a party put on by NOODS Radio and Stamp The Wax.

Les Portes Du Brionnais, released last autumn was, and still is, a mark of what all great electronic albums should be in this day and age: a collection that builds on the vast influences and range of its creators as DJs, while also developing and exploring new sonic territories from previous releases.

With pan pipe melodies, new age trills, oddball synth-funk, cosmic eccentricities and exotica infusions, their album was a triumph and their Bristol debut inside the low brick ceilings of Basement 45 is waited with much excitement.

More info and £8 tickets at Facebook and Headfirst Bristol. Out to Jack Machin on the sensational artwork.
