Disco Picnic launches winter series of music & food in Peckham

As their name suggests, Disco Picnic are party connoisseurs with penchant for both music and the culinary arts. Marrying music and food in bespoke, multi-use event spaces, the crew follow up their stage hosting at Secret Garden Party to cook up a showcase party series of musical, artistic and fashion sentiments this winter.

Occupying a never-before-used site in South London, Disco Picnic are making two adjacent stripped-back Victorian houses the setting for winter series of mouth-watering culinary delights, premium drink and cocktails alongside extended DJ sets, running from the 3rd – 19th December.

Food will come from Seth Troxler’s prolific pop-up BBQ joint Smokey Tails. The three-time champion of the Amsterdam Dance Event DJ cook-off puts almost as much time and dedication into the kitchen as he does in the DJ booth, so expect a mass of seasonal treats. Music-wise, Disco Picnic will begin with a chilled vibe by day – hip, funk, soul and disco – gradually upping the ante as the hours go by and the cocktails slip down. And at some of the events, come 8pm things will switch up with ‘After ATE’ lineups featuring unannounced guest DJs playing extended sets.

Entry is free before 8pm and £3 after. Head to the Disco Picnic Facebook page for more details.
