Premiere: F.T.F. – A1

Up until now, Berlin-based video channel Tape Archive has only been active via YouTube. Now finally it presses to wax with a three tracker from unknown producer F.T.F..

Leading the ninja-stamped EP is the outstanding ‘A1’, that could easily be an Omar S track with it’s cheesy 80s synth preset sound. The glaring low-end synth riff provides an excellent linear form for the track to seemingly continuously develop even though it never moves far off its initial structure. Synths like these are begging to be heard in a pre-peak time set, along with the rest of the EP, which is sure to be snatched up quickly. A keen eye is to be kept on this label for any upcoming pressings.

F.T.F.’ 000666 EP is available to buy now via Phonica. You can listen to the snippets of the EP over on Tape Archive.
